Tuesday night’s grand opening and networking event at Bar Rosso was amazing. Even with torrential rains, the restaurant & Vinoteca was packed with guests: friends, family, council members, and more. The who’s who of Aventura (including ex-mayor Jeffrey Perlow and his wife Sharon, Ken and Jane Klein, Laurie and Irwin Wax, Dan Palmer of Aventura News, Robert Arthur & Elaine Adler to name a few) nibbled on freshly prepared hors d’oeuvres (and there was NO shortage of food) including tuna tartare, crispy artichokes, Italian grilled cheese, pesto drizzled tomato and mozzarella skewers, arancini, and margarita pizzettes, all delish, which flowed abundantly all night! For dessert, espresso cupcakes and mini ice cream cones were passed. Naturally, cards were flying as people introduced themselves and got to know each other. The two-hour event was supposed to end by 8pm, but many guests lingered for hours after.
